This is what happens when a fox thinks it’s a dog… Cuteness overload.
Dawn, the super cuddly friendly fox, was rescued by the Warwickshire Wildlife Sanctuary after she was injured. Generally, they are released back into the wild after recovery. But Dawn was young and still developing when she was taken in and introduced to other dogs.
There she picked up on some very dog-like mannerisms.
Unfortunately, that means Dawn has just become too friendly to release back in the wild. She was unable to develop her vital instincts that a fox in the wild is required to survive. So she is now a permanent resident at the rescue center.
That being said, foxes make TERRIBLE pets. But, that doesn’t mean you can’t appreciate how lovely Dawn is with her owner
